Born in Luxembourg in 1954.

Pit Wagner loves to seize and interpret subjects that require a quick understanding of the situation. He captures the instant on paper, from courtroom drawings, street life and animals in motion, to moving subjects in general. He draws live in rehearsals, translating sound into pictures.
Working on the go, sketches from abroad find their way into travelogues. Drawing is storytelling.
Bamboo, quill and reed pens, China inks, washed and combined with watercolors are his main tools for illustration.
Intaglio, woodcut and mixed techniques allow him limitless experiments and means of expression in printmaking.
